According to the work done by other researchers, Claudia’s maternal 9th-great grandparents were Bennett NEALE and Elizabeth TRICK who hailed from North Cornwall and Devon, particularly Morwenstow and perhaps Woolfardisworthy. The NEALE name first entered Claudia’s maternal pedigree when their granddaughter Mary NEALE married a Hugh ADAMS in 1688 in Morwenstow Cornwall.
In more recent generations, the ADAMS, CORNISH, GRIGG, and ANDREW descendants lived in nearby Kilkhampton, Cornwall until Charles ANDREW and young family emigrated to PEI Canada in 1842.
